Variable has not been assigned a value.

Have been away for a while, but I will put some new stuff in the Basic Bits blog.

Some old programs (eg Game of Life , Tetris) give the error "Variable has not been assigned a value."

These programs used to work fine.

Any help ?

I know what happened . Arrays used to have an initial value of 0, but with the new versions after initializing one has to give initial values.

Dim stat(7)
you should allays have
for n = 0 to 6
stat[n] =0
next n

I'll have to do some debugging
