TTS default language (New Features)

Hello,
My son loves the say instruction but I didn't find a way to make the espeak engine talk in french by default. It would be nice if there was a TTS-language option in the preferences dialog box.

Let me look into that while I am looking into a couple of other issues.

TTS default language

OK. I have a work around and a couple of statements for you to execute.

Espeak by default used the "en" language file. You may change the default voice by copying the language voice you want to the voice default. BASIC256 will then use that new default voice.

On Ubuntu 10.10 (should be similar on other platforms):

cd /usr/share/espeak-data/voices
sudo cp fr default

This will copy the "fr" voice file to the default voice file and all should sound better.
